Hi all,
It’s finally here, the weekend, no more time in an office looking out the window missing all the sun, it’s time to finally enjoy it!
Just an overview of things for todays post, firstly its the Olympics, I used hate the logo but seeing it being put across all types of media and seeing the graphics put on banners, t-shirts, cars, posters it’s really a great ‘brand’ seeing it in the big picture, Creative Review have just released an issue dedicated to the Olympics and is worth checking out.

Second is Mr.Cup who runs the great blog, Graphic-Exchange he has gave some sneak peak images of some wooden type in the works, and I look forward to seeing the final product!

Finally for today 1hundred. I’ve been waiting for along time for some news of when this would go live, but its finally came and I look forward to seeing more products from them, as it is a very limited amount on offer, the whole hand made process and limited edition run makes it extra special and can’t wait to see what comes from them.

Came across this wonderful little fella on the Graphic Exchange, (I highly recommend you bookmark this website if you haven’t already) a nice little promo piece that you can actually make something, which you can see is a lovely little rabbit! Would love to have this just to populate my desk at work.
Great use of 2 colour print and die cutting on beer matt board adds that rural market feel to it. Australia have some amazing creative minds and I just seem to be coming across a lot lately, shall try and make an effort to share more.
The new D&AD annual is out. Showcasing some of the best design both from students and in the professional world this book is a great resource for all designers. This years copy has been designed by Harry Pearce of Pentagram and Diogo Soares. It is the lightest and also the most environmental friendly annual made.

Rishi Sodha, was our guest lecture to talk about freelancing and how to get a job in the industry (sadly i only read the e-mail as it was happening! bad times) went to check out his porfolio online and came across an ISTD project he did, the typography done in the work is superb and the colour palette go well across his poster outcome.
Check out his site from the link above for a more detailed description of the work.
